Hello my name is Scott Barnes!  I graduated from Woods in 2015 and attended Central Carolina Community College until the Spring of 2018.  I majored in Networking and minored in Hardware/Software support.  Soon after I graduated, I came to the realization that I wanted to help people with their computer problems.  I was an intern at Woods from February until June of 2019, working part-time .  However, I studied for and passed the CompTIA A+ Certification exam shortly after I started interning.  

This is my third year as a full-time employee at Woods!  I am super excited to be filling the role of Technology Assistant in which I mainly help fellow faculty/staff with their technological problems!  I have always loved Woods and considered them to be a second home away from home.  

My deepest core belief is in providing stellar customer support that brings a smile to their faces.  In my free time I love to play chess and research the latest and greatest technology, which includes Operating Systems and experimenting with different OS's in virtual machines.  I look forward to the experiences that Woods can provide me with.
