Sixth Grade Spanish is part two of a four-year study of Spanish I. Students will build on their Spanish knowledge from the previous exploratory year by expanding their vocabulary in basic topics, mastering simple grammatical structures and applying language skills in real-world contexts. In conjunction, they will discuss and consider related aspects of Spanish-speaking cultures. Students are expected to achieve a Novice Mid proficiency (based on the ACTFL 2012 Guidelines) by the end of 6th grade.
