My name is Shirley Taylor-Edwards.  I have been working part-time at Woods Charter School since September 2010 as the front office receptionist.  I am a native of Pittsboro, NC.  I graduated from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC and currently reside in Pittsboro. I am married to Ted Edwards, we have one daughter (Denise), son (Ted) and 4 grandchildren. I have lived and worked in Washington, DC and Oak Ridge, TN.  I worked at Quintiles in RTP for 25 years and am grateful to have a second career at Woods.
