Middle School
The middle school years are a time marked both with tremendous growth (physical, mental, and emotional) and monumental challenges. Woods Charter seeks to provide the framework in which our students can grow and mature positively. This is achieved through our small community where every student is known by name and students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning. Our students are challenged by following a creative but grounded curriculum based on the Core Knowledge framework. We support each learner in a way that maximizes his or her chance for success and nurture a culture that is both rigorous and stimulating. Our teachers are committed to working with students, supporting every individual along his or her path to success. We foster a caring community where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
Woods Charter depends on the long-term relationships between students, teachers, and parents to enhance this learning experience.
