Woods Charter School believes in the benefits of a diverse student body. In 2020 we revised our Admissions Policy (with approval of the State Board of Education) in a way that now allows the WCS Board to prioritize a certain number of enrollment slots each year for students who qualify for free and reduced lunch.
Any student who qualifies for this economic diversity lottery but does not gain admission through the economic diversity lottery will automatically be included in the regular admissions lottery. To be included in the economic diversity lottery, a student's parent/guardian must complete this form AND the regular admissions application.
If a family is selected for enrollment through the economic diversity lottery, they must provide supporting documentation of eligibility during the school’s enrollment process. If the family is unable to provide the documentation, the applicant should be returned to the general waiting list.
