I teach 7th and 8th grade English.

7th/8th grade English Website

I teach because I enjoy watching the human brain in action. My family and I live nearby and we love Chatham County. I attended UNC-Chapel Hill and graduated in 2008. Previously, I have taught in public schools in Chapel Hill, Siler City, and Hillsborough.  Here at Woods I have previously taught 2nd grade, middle school and high school special education, Spanish, and an executive functioning course.

In my time outside of the classroom I love to do the following:
-read good books!
-sing and play guitar
-write songs
-make art
-visit with family and friends
-walk outdoors
-hang out with my husband/best friend
-write stories and poetry
-bake without recipes
-play with my daughter
-eat good food
