I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 1996 with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, then worked as a graphic designer/creative director in publishing for many years before establishing my own award-winning creative services company in 2002 specializing in magazine development and production. For the past ten years I have focused on freelance work. I have a long term association with Woods. My son, Sam, is in 10th grade, and my older sons both attended Woods (they have since graduated). I taught journalism and advised the yearbook from 2009-2013 and have been a long-term guest teacher. I also advise the yearbook and debate teams. In my free time I enjoy cooking, podcasts and raising chickens.
