Why Do We Ask For Certain Make and Model of Calculators?

  • To ensure that the calculator meets the minimum requirements for the course.
  • Teachers can help and instruct students with a model they are familiar with.
  • If every student in class had a different make and model, the teacher would have to work with every student individually to teach them how to use it - hence a loss of crucial teaching time.

Homework Diaries

Homework Diaries have been ordered. They are professionally printed and spiral bound, as last year. Students in grades 3 through 10 will be required to use this school-chosen book throughout the school year to keep track of their homework and other plans. For grades 11 and 12 the homework diaries are optional but then a valid alternative method of organization must be used.

The homework diaries cost $5.00 and will be available at orientation and the first day of school.
