Girls basketball at Woods Charter School
We have grown a quality program over the last three years, in which our girls have learned the game, cultivated a family culture, and compete with the best teams in our league and beyond. This season the Lady Wolves expect to compete for their first CCAL championship behind the leadership and play of senior offensive POY, Paige Haswell, and junior defensive POY, MaryRose Hall. They are supported by a great group of talented student-athletes to include: Jr. Erin Durham, So. Diana Royer, So. Victoria Martin, and Fr. Sophia Pearce.
If you are interested in playing basketball here at Woods for the 2011-12 school year, an information meeting will be held in mid-September. Try-outs will be held the final week of October.
There is also a 50/50 chance that Woods could sponsor it's first Middle School girls basketball team this year as well. We are in need a willing and able coach to get things going.
