Kim Carpenter

 

This is my first year here and I am thrilled to be working at Woods Charter School.  I have the privilege to work with the Kindergarten and 2nd grade students and teachers, as well as drive the afternoon bus. 

I am originally from California, where I received my certification in Early Childhood Education, as well as my free spirit.

I moved to Chapel Hill in 1997 with my husband and 2 children, and hope to never leave.  I have had the opportunity to work in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools as a teacher assistant for several years.   Our son attends Woods as a 7th grader and our daughter is a junior at Carrboro High School.

I look forward to meeting you and all the Woods family.  If you see me in the halls please be sure to introduce yourself.  I know this is going to be an amazing year for all of us.
