Grading Policy

 

The following percentages will determine your grade each trimester:

                

     40% - Tests and major projects – Tests are given at the end of each chapter or unit.  Major projects will be assigned throughout the year.

     30% - Quizzes and mini-projects – Quizzes are given about midway through each chapter or unit.  Some will be announced and some will not be. Mini-projects will be assigned throughout the year.  

     30% - Homework and Class Work - Homework will be assigned almost every night.  Class work will include warm-ups.        

 

 Each trimester will count ⅓ of the final grade.

 

Grading policy is subject to minor changes, upon notification. 

 

A student may make up any work missed due to an absence.  When absent, it is the student’s responsibility to find out what was missed.
