This will be my first year at Woods. I am thrilled to be surrounded by the wonderful people in this community. This is a phenomenal setting for teaching and learning to take place. I look forward to working in this place with these people to create a community in my classroom where our students can learn, grow and mature into the best versions of themselves. It is my goal to create a safe, productive and meaningful classroom experience every day for my students, myself, and the Woods community at large.
A little bit about me:
- I am married to a wonderful woman and have a brilliant 16-month-old son (if I do say so myself).
- I have taught in public schools in Brooklyn, NY and Charlotte, NC.
- I grew up not far from here, in Chapel Hill.
- I went to Guilford College for undergrad and then earned an MFA from Queens University in Charlotte, NC.
