  • YMCA Offers Full Day of Fun on February 20th

  • The YMCA has done it again! It has planned a full day of fun themed activities for children on our upcoming school holiday next Monday, February 20th. This "Wannago Wild" day will include game show mania and wacky tacky dress, arts & crafts and even a swim at the Chapel Hill Carrboro YMCA pool. See the attached flyer for more information.
  • MS Girls Soccer: Parents Meeting

  • There will be a parents meeting at 3:15 - 3:45 Thursday Feb. 16 in room 210. A parent or guardian for each girls playing MS Soccer needs to attend. The coach will review policy and procedures, there is mandatory paperwork that needs to be filled out, and transportation and team help needs will be discussed.

  • At the beginning of this year, we implemented new procedures around dress code, traffic through the parking lots, and afterschool activities. Now that we are past the half-way point in the year, it is a good time to remind everyone of these expectations. It takes everyone's cooperation to make this work.

The opportunities not only 'look good on a college application' but provide students with invaluable learning experiences that can not be truly captured in a school setting.   • MS Girls Soccer Try-outs

  • Monday 2/13 from 3:15 - 5:00 AND Wednesday 2/15 from 3:15 - 5:00 *Note: Students should plan on being present for BOTH tryouts. Students be dressed and ready to start at 3:15. Parents, please be prepared to fill out paperwork during this try-out period. IF you make the team, the first practice will be Thursday 2/16 from 3:15 - 5:00. Our first 'official' game is 3/8 - Go LADY WOLVES!
