Greetings!
I am very proud to say that this is my second year teaching at Woods Charter School. I am very pleased be working in such a warm, friendly, and family-centered environment here at WCS. I am a 2010 graduate of Elon University with degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education.
Similar to most teachers in the building, I wear several different hats while at Woods. I am primarily an EC Teacher, but I am also the school's Technology Director. I also have the privilege of teaching piano and voice lessons, along with hopefully working with the new Woods a cappella group after school.
Outside of school, I also play the piano and sing at a variety of venues in the Chapel Hill/Burlington/Greensboro area. I am also the Contemporary Music Director at Front Street United Methodist Church in Burlington, NC.
When I have the time, I enjoy playing soccer, baseball, and tennis. I also thoroughly enjoy hanging out with my friends, camping, rock climbing (when near the mountains), making music, water skiing, and spending time on the lake. Recreational boating with my friends and family is my favorite and most cherished pastime.
