A Note From the Principal

At the beginning of this year, we implemented new procedures around dress code, traffic through the parking lots, and afterschool activities.
Now that we are past the half-way point in the year, it is a good time to remind everyone of these expectations.
It takes everyone's cooperation to make this work.

TRAFFIC FLOW AND SAFETY
Thank you to everyone who drives VERY slowly and watches the safety of our pedestrians at all times. This is the most important thing that anyone can do.
Check the handbook for rules regarding traffic flow. The plan is designed to move traffic efficiently and safely.
Moving from the drive-through lane to the curb lane is never permitted. This is seriously unsafe for everyone involved.
Failure to pull all the way forward on the curb creates efficiency problems and slows down everyone behind you.

DRESS CODE
Check the handbook for dress code rules.
I am directing the administrative team and faculty to increase vigilance when it comes to dress code violations.

STUDENT ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Students may not be dropped off at school prior to 8:00 am, and students must depart by 3:30 pm.
The only exceptions are students who are participating in approved afterschool activities under the supervision of adults.
We cannot provide student supervision prior to 8:00 or after 3:30 except through our approved programs.
In an afterschool pickup emergency situation, call the front desk and tell your child to check in with the front desk and wait for you in the front hallway.

Thank you for doing your part to meet these expectations.
