High School Director Adrienne Berg will return from her Fulbright experience in the Netherlands next week!
The Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching allowed Ms. Berg to immerse herself in Dutch culture, language, history, geography, and education.
Ms. Berg studied how Dutch schools educate youth about relationships, intimacy, respect, sexuality, and growing up. She conducted interviews and observed secondary classrooms while connected with Maastricht University.
Highlights from her trip include living in an ancient city, seeing lots of art, and discovering the many connections between the Netherlands and the United States. Did you know the Dutch invented WiFi, the stock exchange, doughnuts, and New York City?
Stay tuned to hear more about her work later this spring.
